About
Pencil in one hand, sticks in the other.
Lee Hopson is an English artist who draws portraits the slow way — layer after layer of graphite until a face starts looking back.
When he's not drawing he's behind a drum kit, usually playing along to Toto. "Rosanna" shuffle, every time.
Whenever he can, he swaps grey English skies for the California coast — and the sunsets find their way into the work.
